Hi, I'm Charlie Clark!
I am a multimedia artist based in California and Utah. I was raised in a family of artists, and have been surrounded by art and music for my entire life. I am studying to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design at San Diego State University. I work primarily in digital design, sculpture, and traditional illustration.
Recurring themes in my art include philosophy and introspection, surrealist contemplation, and mental health awareness. Inspired by comic book illustration and contemporary typography, much of my digital work presents serious and intense topics in a cheerful light, with the goal of bringing awareness to problems that people typically would not be willing to focus on.
Growing up, I was taught that there is no situation that cannot benefit from laughter, so I try to incorporate humorous and odd characters and environments into my illustrations.
