Typographic broadside and postcard submitted for the 29th poetry international issue. the design because the poem, titled "Grieve, goddess sings, for the black sons of America", references a soon-to-be mother of a black son in America whom is pre meditatively grieving for the struggles of her unborn son who must grow up in a society where he is persecuted due to the color of his skin.Â
